Tornados in the Bay Area?

The local news is reporting that a tornado possibly touched down in South San Franciso. The reason the say possibly is they need to investigate if there are swirl marks on the ground. Weird!?!

Now if had hit a trailer park there would be no doubt...

I'm next door to SSF, you would think I would have known about this before I read it on SFGate. In fact, it says that SSF had hail, there was no hail in SB. (trust me, I know, I was outside looking for one of my cats during that time)

I'm up the hill from SSF, and the tornado actually touched down in my uncle's neighborhood.

Seriously, this is some crazy weather shit we've been having. I swear it's all connected: the earthquakes in LA, the tsunami, the tornado in SSF, etc.

I work in SSF, and I have to admit to a slight disappointment that I could see no evidence of damage when I went to work on Monday. I did get nearly blown into the bay on my lunchtime power-walk to the Oyster Point fishing pier later that day, but that wind was pretty much straight out of the west, not twisty and full of houses that might fall on witches, or Condi Rice.

But I repeat myself.

A little bit off topic...one of my sisters lives in Sacramento and the tornado that touched down there a month or so ago took the tiles off the roofs of several houses across the street then crossed the street and took out the fence of her neighbor behind her. She watched the whole thing from her window, apparently too transfixed by the show to consider getting the hell away from the window and to another part of the hosue.
