A tribute ...

2,996

Not exactly a Bay Area related item, but I'm hoping we can all help out.

This blogger is trying to get 2,996 bloggers to sign up. One each for each of the 9/11 victims. Can you please sign up and do a little tribute on the 5th anniversary of 9/11 tragedy?

Check out the site, and sign up if you can dedicate a little blog space.

Thank you.

I was reading your blog, and I thought you might be interested in tipping your readers to a race fan’s dream come true with an exclusive opportunity to get an insider’s look into the world of IndyCar Racing.

Your readers can bid on eBay for the chance to win two VIP passes to the Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma event on August 27. The VIP passes include guided tours of the Andretti team’s garage and pit area, and gives the opportunity to see the team close up during pre-race preparations. They will have access to the exclusive Andretti Green Racing hospitality and entertainment facility where they can enjoy food and beverages and mingle with team members and sponsors. There also will be opportunities to meet and get photos with Marco Andretti and they can watch the entire race from the pit as guests of one of the all time great racing teams.

Andretti Green Racing and the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) are sponsoring the Racing For Hemophilia program, which means all of the proceeds from the charity auction go to help support the NHF and its vital research and education programs.

The auction began August 4th and it lasts until August 13th. The Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma is the second to last race of the season, so fans must act quickly before these great tickets pass them by!
