BARBARians Go Beserkely

Thirsty anyone? Posted by Hello

It's that time again for Bay Area Resident Bloggers and Readers to eat drink and make merry. The Jupiter in Berkeley is across the street from the central Berkeley BART station.

I'm thinking Wednesday, April 13, at 6pm would be a good time to meet (it leaves enough time for those who wait to the last minute to do their taxes).

I't more of a beer church than a full service bar, so what do you think?

Ang, I'd be happy to go, but I'm not putting out for you, no matter how hard you beg.

Oh! I don't know why I forgot about this place, but Club Mallard on San Pablo in Albany has a full bar and it's an AWESOME dive bar.

Maybe for next time? Just an idea.

I'm there, but who's the chick in the picture? She looks like she could kick your ass about six different ways if she needed to.

Oh wait... manbreasts??

Never mind.

On a different note -- are you saying that Angie can't get a peach martini at Jupiter?

I'd love to become a Barbarian and join you guys at Jupiter but unfortunately I live in SoCAL. I used to hang out at Jupiter when I was doing a summer session at UC Berkeley a few years ago. I have some great memories of that place.

Anyways, I dig your blog. Keep up the good fight.

Peace.

I topped by the Jupiter the other day for a beer and to reconnoiter the fortifications.

I was able to secure some tables upstairs where the noise level is less. They have quite a selection of grub. You can find their menu on their website.

The also have wifi for those inclined to lug in the laptop.

Lastly, I encourage everyone to write to Kos, Brad DeLong, Roger Ailes, any other Bay Area Blogger you know, to request their presence...
