For after action reports from the last drinkfest, check out Dr. Laniac's and Generik's take on the evening.
We had some new additions to our drinking society and the Barbarian blogroll. They are our newest celebs: 1000 Buffalo Stampede, Dr. Laniac's Laboratory, and The Editors (aka The Poor Man).
The next BARBARian night out will be on Thursday, the 27th of October. It will the one year anniversary from our humble beginnings. So all we need to do is decide on a place. The Bart Rule should apply unless there is a shuttle service.
Any ideas?

Ha! I'm a celeb!
I'd offer out my usual Pacific Coast Brewery - two blocks from 12th st BART.
Of course, what with the TV cameras and politicos that were there last Thursday ... well, that's probably where we should have been, eh?
Of course you're a celeb -- we're all stars in our special ways since blogging is the new black.
Talking a of which, Hanan Levin, of the most fantastic and effervescent Grow-a-Brain, will be in town and most likely stopping by.
Does anyone know if the commenter Swopa for our last bash invite is the same Swopa of Needlenose?
Drew made some suggestions like Zeitgeist again. I'm worried about competing with the weather and Halloween, unless we all dress like barbarians. That might be taking the theme too far and surely cut down on the outreach.
I'm thinking of a bigger, quieter place than last time and maybe on the city side of the Bay (and they should make a mean Manhattan).
So what do you say?

Drew suggested Glen Park Station. It sounds like a comfortable place.
